Kovu
personality As a cub, Kovu acted very tough and aggressive around his siblings and the other cubs, but when it came to adults he was timid and frightful. When the situation called for it, he was courageous. He wasn't interested in Zira's plotting, but he went along with it out of fear. After all, it made him stronger, and that made him arrogant. As he grew, Zira beat out the good in him, turning him into a heartless killer. He was still as arrogant as before, but he was stronger and more violent. However, he was a patient lion. And he had to be, in order to kill Simba and take the Pridelands back. However, the more time he spent in the Pridelands, the kinder he got. The same timid and kindly nature he had as a cub had stayed with him as he grew up, no matter how much Zira tried to beat it out of him. Over time, he found the courage to betray his pride for what he believed was right. Now that he's the new king, he's a little apprehensive. And with cubs on the way and his sister gone, he can't help but worry. He still carries a bit of guilt for Nuka's death, made worse by his confrontation with Vitani. history Kovu was born in the Pridelands. He was Zira's son, but Scar wasn't related to him at all. Despite that, the young cub had something that appealed to Scar, and he took him in as if he were his own. Soon after, Scar was overthrown, and those loyal to him were banished. Zira carried her cubs and vowed to avenge Scar. Through Kovu. As soon as he was old enough, he started training. He hunted mice and played with the other cubs. He had an independent streak and started wandering off on his own. He ran into a cub from the Pridelands. Despite himself, he wanted to be friends with her. Of course, their parents cut in and separated them. Kovu didn't fully understand his mother's new plan, but the very next day his training intensified. He was raised to kill Simba, but he never really forgot about that little lioness he had met. Since she was Simba's daughter, obviously he had every excuse to meet her again. Once the plan was executed, he actually was rather happy to see her again, even though he still had every intention of killing her father. Unfortunately for his mother, he found himself falling for Kiara. He rebelled, but Simba's mistrust led him to be banished. How surprised he was, then, when Kiara ran away to find him. He wanted to leave and start their own pride, but Kiara insisted they return and he couldn't refuse. He lived with the pride, learned the laws of the land and how to be king, and when Simba thought he was ready, he ascended Pride Rock and started his reign over the Pridelands. |
