Vitani
personality Vitani during her adolescence was a tomboy who enjoyed fighting with Kovu. Not only that, but even at a young age she is shown to support the motion of accepting Kovu as the heir to the throne unlike Nuka who claimed he would be a better fit for becoming King. Nuka, salty with the situation was often told off by Vitani with some sort of remark or sarcastic come-back. Even so, she is still shown to love her brother, despite her attitude towards him when talking about Kovu. Overall, during adolescence Vitani is the average Outlander as her tomboy ways and attitude reflects off of her own mother in some ways. During the execution of the plan, Vitani shows to still support Kovu, but starts to become weary. Being a sort of spy, she watches Kovu's every move only to see for herself that Kovu doesn't attempt to kill the king, Simba when a chance of a lifetime occurs. Upset, she runs off to her mother to report her findings which enrages the Queen. Moving on to the next phase of the plan, Zira comes up with an idea to attack the king herself. During the attack, Nuka ends up dying which upsets and enrages the Queen more while Vitani is left upset by the actions done. At the end when another attack is setup, Vitani is the first Outsider to go to the side of the Pridelanders as she is moved by the speech Kovu and Kiara gave. When she moves over, it enrages her mother as well and she threatens to murder her along with the rest of the Pridelanders. It's at this moment that a lot of the Outlanders move over to the Pridelanders side. A battle occurs once more which ends up taking Zira's life as well which causes great upset to Vitani. Ever since Zira had died, Vitani has been thinking non-stop about the death of her brother. Reflecting back onto history, her memory becomes foggy and she can't quite understand what really happened. Of course, she finally realizes that if Kovu had stuck to his job that maybe than her mother and brother wouldn't have been dead. Bitter inside, she becomes hostile towards the Queen and Kovu. Unable to control the rage bubbling deep inside, she ends up being privately banished from the Pridelands. Feeling that the new Queen had a paw in this 'secret meeting' the rage that had started to bubble finally erupts and Vitani returns to the Outlands. Taking charge of the Hyena's and the Outlands, Vitani has a plan for revenge as she claims to finally sees everything clearly now. To those who live in the Pridelands, she is hostile and aggressive towards while those in the Outlands vary based on the lion or lioness. history During her adolescences, Vitani is shown to be quite obedient compared to the rest of the cubs. She often listens to all the rules set in place compared to Nuka and Kovu. Even so, she is often the little aggressive fur ball who was displeased to find out her brother, Nuka decided he didn't need to watch Kovu before going on a rant about how he should be king. A few moments later, their mother returns with Kovu before placing him down near Vitani who challenges her brother-in-law to a fight. During this scene shows how much she cares for her brother-in-law and how loyal she is towards their mother as well. (During the song, she interrupts Zira's part to go "Kovu what a guy" which shows her respect for her brother.) Despite, everything is could be assumed that the rest of her cub-hood was spent play fighting and being a tomboy along with a sassy little fur ball towards her brother, Nuka and perhaps even Kovu. When Kovu is sent out for his mission, Vitani along with Nuka spread a fire across the Prideland so that their brother-in-law can be seen as the hero who had saved the princess. Of course, she doesn't stop there and continues working on the mission by spying on her brother. (Due to her devotion and love to her siblings, it could be said that she was looking out for Kovu just in case things went wrong.) During her spying, she notices that Kovu spares Simba's life as he had a once in a lifetime opportunity to strike the king while he had his back turned. Upset and slightly confused, she reportsher findings to her mother who gets enraged. She plans an attack on Simba and is accompanied by Nuka and Vitani. During the battle, Vitani notices Kovu trying to protect the King and so she knocks Kovu out. In the end though, Simba is free to live another day while Nuka ends up dying. Mourning the loss of her brother, Zira blamed Kovu for the death of Nuka while Vitani is still quite loyal to her brother-in-law. Preparing for another battle, Vitani along with quite a few of the Outlanders and Zira head towards Pride Rock where they attempt to take the throne by force. In a taunting manner, Vitani askings Nala where here 'Pretty little daughter' is. A little while later, Kovu and Kiara show up to the battle as they attempt to reason with both sides. Claiming that all lions should live as one, Kiara moves that the Outlanders join the Pridelanders as there is no difference between them. Vitani is the first to move to the other side which enrages her own mother. Threanting to not only kill the Priderlanders, but her daughter as well is what causes many of the Outlanders to change sides seeing Zira's true colors. Zira attacks Kiara and ends up dying as Kiara can't save the former Queen of the Outlands. Vitani doesn't think much of the occurrence, but at times move on she can't help, but be mournful. Recalling the past, her mind becomes foggy on what truly happened as most of the events caused her to be in a shock like state. The more she thought about the death of her family, the more she blamed the new Queen and King. If Kovu stuck to the plan instead of falling in love with the princess, than her mother and brother would still be alive to this day. When she comes to this conclusion, she begins to become hostile towards the couple. Of course, when finding out Kiara is pregnant sends Vitani in a rage as she claims the 'Queen will be a terrible mother!'. At this, Kovu pulls Vitani aside to privately ban the lioness. Furious at how brainwashed her brother-in-law has become, she returns to the Outlands. Becoming leader of the Hyenas, Vitani has a plan to strike revenge on the Pridelands like her mother had come up with before. Mournful and aggravated with herself, she wishes she had never left the Outlands at all. |
